Light and Water

I can't sleep with clouds like this

looks like angels start to kiss

a warm body in the dark

everyone wants to feel their heart

you get caught along the way

mistaking love for things we'd say

close your eyes and think about

a love that used to make you shout

maybe the rain it comes from you

or it's just deceptive from this view

but when the sun comes up it fills up the whole sky

and colors come between the two sets of our eyes

and once again i start to feel this love align

but maybe that's just when light and water combine

If birds can fly right through this storm

then I can let my heart get worn

the clear ahead will calm my nerves

and i can let go of this hurt

i just woke up from half asleep

i'm trying to dance to the same beat

and i can feel it deep inside of me

but i'm not sure that this is where i want to be
