Younger Years

These are our younger years

and I'm gonna wake up

someday when I'm older

and wonder why I cared so much

so much about all

all the things that don't matter

all the things that I don't need

all the things that just keep on

slowly fleeting out of my life

and if you see my tears

it's still cause it hurts me

i'm sayin goodbye to

a chapter that showed me love and

broke it all away

and i know that it's just a

a young way to view this

we both got so crazy and i

know you just need a friend

besides i can't force it

i am what i am

i could be your best friend

and we'll both be exactly what

we both were intended to be
